Feed Down (Resolved)

Issue resolved, see below

The feed is currently down due to an unknow issue at the feed site. We are currently looking into the issue, however have no estimation about a return. As soon as possible the issue will be resolved. Follow our Twitter for up to the minute updates.

Update- 8:00pm
The feeds are currently back operational and appear to be stable. The issue may have stemmed from a power outage in the area the feed computer is located in. We do not currently anticipate any additional downtime due to this issue.

Holiday Weekend Busy for Police

The hot long holiday weekend ended up being busy for the Boston Police, and our feed caught all of it. All totalled there were 9 shooting incidents leaving 4 dead and 9 wounded. Added to the shootings there were 3 stabbings leaving 5 injured.

In response to the violence from the weekend, Boston mayor Tom Menino and top BPD brass are meeting to “examine” the issue.

Related to the busy weekend, our feed saw a high of almost 50 listeners.

Feed change for 4th of July

In preparation for the large celebration along the Charles River with the Boston Pops, we will be adding in Channel 1 to the scan list. The addition will take place around 6pm, and will be set as the priority. We will do our best to monitor the traffic and adjust as needed.
